Choice

Each and every one of us made the choice to become the person we are. Before taking the form, we saw the general direction and challenges that would face the life of the person we chose to be and we decided, for whatever our own reason, to take this life. All human beings made this same choice before becoming solid.

Sometimes we are unsuccesful in achieving the integration of our energy self into the solid form. It has in many cases taken as much as two human years to make a sure connection. If an energy fails to make a sure connection, the solid form cannot survive. Our energy is our life source, it causes all function. Many energies have failed to make the connection but have gone on to be successful elsewhere. All unenlightened energies, stained or otherwise, return immediately to the origin if connection fails or is severed. Enlightened energies with stains must stand before the council of elders for judgement. Some stains that violate the universal laws may also stand before the council but must only make amends, there is no risk of rejection.

If the sure connection is achieved, the life choices of each of us are our own to make. The sacred markers may lead us to a reunion with the origin, and grant us access to some of its power, but the surest significance of regaining the link to the origin is knowing not to fear the afterlife. Mortality is less frightening.
